Baby D4 poll and 32 week baby bump

Since I'm well into the 3rd trimester, I decided it was about time to start the guessing game for this new baby!  Please take our poll and let us know whether you think we will be having a boy or girl and whether this baby will be early or late or big or small.  This is all just for fun and I can't wait to hear your answers!  I will freeze the guessing at the beginning of May since at that point the baby could safely come at any time.  (Although since I tend to be overdue, I am not expecting it :)

And no, I have absolutely no idea what this baby is.  My morning sickness has gotten much worse with each pregnancy so that was not a clue.  This baby seems to be quite low in contrast to Abbi, but my first two stayed pretty low as well.  So I am really excited about being surprised at birth!  Of course, as my husband says, we will only be truly surprised if it is a boy, ha, ha! :)

Everyone has been begging me for belly shots, so here goes.  I always feel so silly taking pictures by myself so I haven't done it at all yet.  But at almost 33 weeks, I guess it is time this baby has some pictures!

My Mom thinks I am carrying this baby much lower than last time and I tend to agree, because I feel like there is a lot more pressure lower than last time.  Abbi never dropped at all until I was going through transition during labor, but this baby has felt quite low for quite a while now.

Traditional family Easter pics

It was raining this morning so we first attempted pictures on the piano bench...

After church, the rain had cleared slightly, so we tried again at the gazebo:

Easter bucket list at Grandma and Papa's!

When Karis found out that we were going to Grandma and Papa's for Easter, she began reminding us of every special activity done in years past:  dying Easter eggs, making Easter cookies, planting flowers, Easter baskets, etc.  Thankfully, we managed to squeeze it all in today and the girls had one of the "funnest days ever" (direct quote from Karlie).

We decided to do Easter baskets from Grandma and Papa early since Sunday is usually a bit rushed to get to church on time.  Abbi was amazed and immediately ate a bit of candy:

Ready for Easter eggs!

Abbi's first time doing Easter eggs.  She was both very excited and serious about her job:

She wanted to take the eggs out immediately, so we had to practice counting to 20 to ensure that they got enough color:

Papa had gotten them a castle tent that they were quite excited about, even though they said it was "not a pretty castle" (it didn't have any pink or purple).  Grandma read them books inside the castle:

Next on the agenda: cookies!

Then bubble time outside while the cookies baked!
Abbi tried to catch them with her wand....

While Karis tried to pop them with her shield:

After nap time, it was time for planting flowers:

Such a beautiful, fun day!

Spring haircuts!

We've been wanting to get the big girls' hair cut for some time now.  Karlie's hair has gotten ridiculously tangly and can seriously take me 20 minutes to brush in the mornings.  And I really don't have that kind of time to spend on hair, particularly when I have 3 little girls' hair to brush!  Karis's hair doesn't tangle as badly, but she always wants to wear it down rather than in a clip or ponytail, and it was always in her face or getting in her food.  We finally made the time to get them nice, short, spring cuts today and we are so excited with how cute they look and how easy it is to brush their hair

As a fun "before" picture, this is what Karlie's hair looked like when Karis decided to decorate it:

And a quick picture to show how Karis' hair often dropped into her food:

Now for the haircuts!  They were both pretty excited about it and very cooperative!

The hair dresser said she cut about 9 inches off Karlie's hair!

 Ready for warm weather!!

Who ever heard of snow on Palm Sunday?

It might seem a little crazy to be getting snow just a week before April, but we were sure excited!  The perfect kind of wet snow for snowballs and snowmen!
