My parents gave Karis this awesome musical table and she really enjoys it. But she had so much fun with the box that we still haven't thrown it away! She pushes it all over the floor. It is currently in the kitchen to give her something to do while I do dishes :)
We went over to my brother's place on Sat. and they have those foam letter pads on the floor. I just thought it was cute that out of all the letters, Karis picked the purple "D" to chew on. was it because it was purple or because it was a "D"? ha, ha :)
My parents came to visit last weekend and although somehow we didn't take too many pics of them with Karis, it was so much fun! They also offered to babysit Karis for us on Saturday night so that Mark and I could have a date! Now that we have a baby, that doesn't happen too often, so we sure appreciated it! We are so thankful for wonderful parents who dote on their grandbabies :)
Nina got Karis these adorable tights that look like they have little black shoes on them :) They are perfect because she has the hardest time keeping shoes on her feet!

ht, I'm soooo tired of teething! Another one just broke through and since they usually come in pairs and Karis is uttery miserable today, I figure we'll see another one soon. You can't see them in these pics because she doesn't like showing them off yet -- her mouth seems to be permanently chewing on something at all times -- If its not a toy, then its her tongue :) But you know I'll provide you with pictures once she starts giving us her big grin! These pics show her playing with one of her favorite toys -- its a lion basketball goal that lights up and plays music when you dunk it :) She and her Daddy have tons of fun playing with it, as you can imgine!
I guess when you use all four limbs to get you somewhere, then you have to find another way to carry your toys with you :) Karis has been crawling all over the house with toys in her mouth and it just cracks us up!
I realized this weekend that Karis actually has enough hair to make a real bow stay put! And she didn't even seem to mind it :) No need for headbands anymore! So I had to take pics of her first real bow!
This month was all about crawling! She was just rocking back and forth at the beginning, then she could go two steps, and then all of a sudden, she can go as many as she wants! It sounds like such a normal process, but it was amazing to watch :) So we got rid of our coffee table to give her room to practice crawling in our living room. And we plan to just teach her to obey rather than buy baby gates :) She already knows what the word "no" means and a lot of the time she even chooses to listen!
Mary and Samy came and stayed the weekend with us! We had so much fun and Karis really enjoyed the extra attention. We love Mary and Samy!
Ok, so maybe it wasn't all that much snow. But it was still her first, so we had to get pics. She looked so cute in her snowsuit, but she really wasn't all that excited about it :)
Ha, ha, this is Karis's new favorite thing to do. It is definitely intentional because she does it all the time and can easily fix it if she wants. She usually just chomps away when she puts it in upside-down. I'm guessing it feels good on her gums or something. But it never fails to make me laugh:)
